Product description:
Vat Bordeaux 2R is a purple red powder. Soluble in o-chlorophenol, slightly soluble in chloroform, pyridine, toluene, insoluble in acetone and ethanol.
Reddish orange in concentrated sulfuric acid. Alkaline reduction cryptochromes are brown with green fluorescence; acid reduction cryptochromes are orange.
